GOV. Dikko Radda of Katsina State has expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s renewed Nigeria mission.

The governor made the expression on Saturday during the 7th and 8th combined convocation of the Federal University Dutsin-ma, (FUDMA).

According to the governor, the renewed Nigeria mission of the president will succeed to overcome all the challenges in the country.

“The people of Katsina State extend their heartfelt congratulations on your victory and remain confident that your mission for a renewed Nigeria will overcome all challenges and succeed by the will of Allah,” he said.

Radda also commended the president for his administration’s unwavering commitment to the education sector.

“Today, we are gathered here not just to celebrate an academic milestone, but to mark a significant chapter in the lives of our young scholars,” Radda added.

He told the graduates that the day was a testament to their hard work, resilience, and determination, saying that they have overcome challenges and persevered in their quest for knowledge.

Radda said, “As you step into the world, armed with education and a spirit of inquiry, remember that you are not just graduates; you are the torchbearers of progress and change.

“As you move forward, I urge you to carry the values and lessons learned here into your future endeavors.

“Embrace innovation, seek continuous improvement, and be the catalysts for positive change in our society.

”Your education is not just a personal achievement; it is a tool for community development and nation-building.”

The governor also reiterated his administration’s commitment to rescue the remaining four abducted female students of the university.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that five female students of FUDMA were on October 3, abducted by suspected bandits and later one of them was able to escape.

Earlier in his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor (V-C) of the university, Prof. Armaya’u Hamisu-Bichi, said a total number of 401 Postgraduate students graduated, out of which 11 have Ph.D, 168 have Academic Masters, 73 have Professional Diplomas and 149 have PGDs.

“We are also graduating a total of 4,365 students, out of this number, 112 have first class, 1,131 have second class upper, 2,476 have second class lower and 646 have third class degrees.

“While we felicitate with you, dear graduates, we charge you to be good ambassadors of FUDMA and the country in whatever endeavor and wherever you may be.

“While you join the larger society to start a new life, we advise you to deploy the knowledge and skills you have acquired in this University to excel and face the challenges that may come your way.

“I also encourage you to promote peace, love, unity, law and order,” the vice-chancellor urged.
