The Dikko Project Movement, under the leadership of Dr Musa Yusuf Gafai, has embarked on a site inspection of the recently completed Eastern Bypass in Katsina State. The exercise, carried out in collaboration with a sister group, Gwagwariyya Amana, took place on Friday evening.
Speaking during the inspection, Dr Gafai described the initiative as a reaffirmation of the Movement’s core mandate showcasing the developmental strides of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s administration. He stated that the completed Eastern Bypass stands as a bold testimony to the governor’s commitment to infrastructural development within just two years in office.
“Our mission is to physically verify and present Governor Radda’s achievements to the people of Katsina State,” Dr Gafai noted. “The Eastern Bypass is just one of many landmark projects executed to ease traffic and boost economic activity.”
The inspection tour commenced at Kayauki, along the Daura road where the bypass originates and extended to the Agricultural Mechanization Centre along the Kano road. The team made several stopovers to assess the quality and impact of the road construction.
Dr Gafai commended Governor Radda’s foresight and execution, expressing confidence that the current administration is positioning Katsina State for a better future.
At the conclusion of the tour, Dr Gafai announced that the Dikko Project Movement, in conjunction with its partners, would embark on a state-wide tour across all 34 local government areas to spotlight the Radda administration’s performance.
“We are determined to take this message to both urban and rural communities. By 2027, we are confident that our efforts will translate into millions of votes in support of Governor Radda’s vision,” he declared.
The visit is part of a larger campaign by the Dikko Project Movement to promote government accountability and citizen engagement through direct interaction with ongoing projects.
