The 2025 edition of the MAKEMS Jewelry Exhibition is scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 29, 2025, in Abuja, with organizers promising an elaborate showcase of handmade, custom-designed jewelry pieces.

The event, which has become a fixture for jewelry collectors and enthusiasts, will take place at the W. O. Kilaso Hall, Glowing Ages Academy, Games Village Road, Kaura District.

This year’s exhibition comes as more collectors continue to join the ongoing bid in the “Makem Jewelry Auction” for the Royal Amethyst & Baroque Gold Prestige Suite — a bespoke suite combining raw amethyst, hand-forged gold, and rare baroque pearls. Interested bidders can participate through the dedicated auction portal.

The MAKEMS brand, known for craftsmanship and artisanal jewelry design, is expected to unveil a curated collection of handmade items, ranging from gemstone necklaces to intricately crafted rings and statement pieces. According to the organizers, each piece reflects a blend of traditional techniques and contemporary creativity, designed to serve as timeless keepsakes.

The theme for this year’s edition, “SHOP! Sparkle!! And Shine!!!”, underscores the emotional value of the pieces and the brand’s commitment to jewelry as both art and personal expression.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Director of Operations, MAKEMS Jewelry, Dr. Wumi Fagbeyiro, said visitors will experience a wide range of styles, including luxury-inspired earrings, minimalist bracelets, and bold statement pieces across various themes.

She added that models will also showcase items in categories such as traditional wedding looks, white wedding looks, boss couples, and kids’ collections.

Fagbeyiro noted that the exhibition is designed to be family-friendly, with offerings suitable even for younger attendees.

“Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a first-time visitor, this exhibition offers something for everyone, making it an ideal outing to kick off the holiday season,” she said.
