The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, has congratulated Senator Hadi Sirika and Honourable Adnan Habu Nahabu on their recent appointments.
In a statement signed by the Head of Information and Protocol, Fatima Sianda Kaita, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shehu Salihu Muhammad, expressed delight over the appointment of Senator Hadi Sirika as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the UMYU Governing Council.
The university also extended its felicitation to Honourable Adnan Habu Nahabu, who was recently appointed as the Katsina State Commissioner for Higher, Technical and Vocational Education.
Professor Muhammad described the appointments as well-deserved, noting that the duo’s vast experience, dedication, and commitment to education would enhance the growth and development of UMYU.
He further expressed optimism that their leadership would strengthen the university’s pursuit of academic excellence and institutional progress in line with the strategic goals of both the institution and the Katsina State Government.
