Urges Staff to Embrace Innovation, Resilience, and Collaboration to Fulfill Agency's Mandate

Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi Tsauri, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria, officially began his duties on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Agency's Office in Abuja. Upon his arrival, he encouraged the staff to adopt a mindset focused on innovation, resilience, and collaboration to successfully achieve the agency's ambitious goals.

After touring the Agency’s facilities, the CEO addressed the Management and Staff, noting that the Agency's mandate aligns perfectly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He called on staff to demonstrate dedication and teamwork.

"I urge everyone to think boldly, collaborate, take ownership, and remain focused on achieving results," CEO Jabiru Abdullahi Tsauri stated.

He emphasized that, with renewed focus, he would strengthen systems for recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance. The CEO promised that staff contributions would be acknowledged, and excellence would be celebrated at all levels.

"This organization is only as strong as its people. I am committed to creating a culture where every voice is heard, every effort is valued, and everyone feels a sense of belonging," he assured the staff.

Hon. Jabiru Abdullahi Tsauri also reiterated that his leadership would prioritize transparency, fairness, and accountability. He promised to address issues affecting staff and to create a work environment where individuals feel valued, supported, and empowered.

He expressed confidence in the staff's ability to exceed the Agency's goals, urging them to recommit to their duties and leave a lasting legacy of transformation, growth, and hope for future generations.

The Head of Legal, Barr Baba Saidu, who served as Acting CEO following the end of the previous CEO's tenure, welcomed the new CEO on behalf of the Management and Staff. He assured him of their full support and collaboration to ensure that his tenure is marked by meaningful results.

Barr. Baba Saidu, who served as Acting CEO for nearly three months, gave the new CEO a tour of the Agency’s facilities and handed over official documents, including the Handover Notes from both the Acting CEO and the former CEO.

Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi Tsauri was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on December 6, 2024, to lead AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria.
