NPC CHAIRMAN INSPECTS DIGITAL FACILITIES FOR NEXT CENSUS IN KADUNA STATE

In preparation for the upcoming first digital Population and Housing Census in Nigeria, the Chairman of National Population Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa kwarra, fnsa, inspected the ongoing construction of the NPC Disaster Recovery Centre Annex in Kaduna State today.  

The NPC Chairman lauded the pace of the ongoing work and compliance with job specifications by the contractor.

He was accompanied on the visit by the Federal Commissioner, Kaduna State, Hon. Mrs. Saadatu Garba Dogonbauchi; Federal Commissioner, Akwa Ibom State and Chairman of the NPC Headquarters Building Committee, Chief Engr. Benedict Ukpong, fnse; Director-General, Dr. Osifo Tellson Ojogun, fnasa, and other management staff of the Commission. 

Hon. Kwarra and his team also paid a working visit to the NPC Kaduna State Office to assess the condition of non-sensitive census materials stored in the State office.

During the visit, the NPC Chairman also interacted with staff and management of the NPC Kaduna State Office, saying that efforts are being made towards improving the capacity and welfare of the staff of the Commission. He urged them to be of good conduct and always put in their best to ensure that the Commission delivers on its mandate of providing demographic data for national planning.
