Katsina State Hizbah Board's Ongoing Unity Tour Involves, Engagement with Religious Scholars

The Katsina State Hizbah Board continues its purposeful dialogue with Islamic religious scholars, marking a crucial phase in its ongoing statewide tour.

Initiated on Thursday, February 7, the tour aims to establish connections with Islamic scholars, security officers, and traditional leaders in Katsina city, seeking unity, guidance, and support for the newly established Hizbah board by the Katsina state government.

Dr. Aminu Usman, also known as Abu Ammar, holds the position of Commander in Chief of Hizbah in Katsina state. Under his leadership, the board collaborates with religious groups in a purposeful dialogue with scholars to seek counsel and advice.

On Saturday, the delegation expanded their visits to eminent figures, including Elder and Scholar Sheikh Muhammad Namadi in his Zawiyya in Unwalar Jangefe, Head of Kadiriyya of Katsina State Sheikh Ahmed Rufa'i Kofar 'Yandaka, Sheikh Habibu Yahya Kaura, Sheikh Yakubu Musa Hassan Sauti Sunnah, Businessman Alh. Ladan Wapa, Sheikh Khalifa Dayyib Sani Zanguna, and Dr. Aminu Yammawa.

Accompanied by the head of administration of the board, the head of the financial department of the Hizbah board, and journalists, the visit elicited joy and well-wishes from the scholars who expressed wholehearted support.

The commission outlines plans to replicate similar tours across all 34 local governments in Katsina state, fostering a collaborative approach to community reform.
