Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda inspected two major development projects in Dandume and Funtua today all in a bid to improve healthcare and educational infrastructure across the state.
At the Dandume Comprehensive Health Centre, Governor Radda reviewed the facility status into a full-fledged general hospital.
The expansion project, now in its final stages, features new medical laboratories, gender-specific wards, an administrative block, and specialized medical offices.
During the inspection tour, local residents gathered to express gratitude, noting that the upgraded facility will eliminate the need to travel to distant hospitals for medical care.
Similarly, in Funtua, the Governor assessed expansion works at the Government Technical College, which will serve as the temporary site for the Federal University of Health Sciences.
Governor Radda's led administration investment in this project includes new learning facilities and infrastructure to accommodate both students and lecturers.
The administration is also working round the clock to ensure the University begins full academic activities.
