The Trekking  to Kano in 2019 !!!!

In 2019, after the general elections, Nura and two of his friends organized what they described as a trekking journey to Kano to congratulate the then Governor of Kano State on his re-election victory.

The event attracted significant attention on social media. At the time, an one newspaper title jaridar taskar labarai, repeatedly questioned the authenticity of the trek, alleging that there were inconsistencies surrounding the story.
Later, reports claimed that the journey was not entirely completed on foot. It was alleged that two of his friends transported him by car through certain routes and dropped him at different locations so he could continue trekking publicly.
Despite the controversy, he received a warm reception in Kano, and some members of the Katsina State House of Assembly reportedly attended to celebrate the journey with him.
The incident was said to have created a connection between him and the former Kano governor, leading to continued relations afterward.

How He Allegedly Got a Government Appointment?

Some sources claimed that Governor Dikko Umar Radda was persuaded by certain influential figures to appoint Nura into government.
Reports also stated that Nura was not among the prominent political supporters who actively worked for the governor’s election campaign and was not previously known to be close to the administration.
One of Nura’s friends reportedly told Katsina Times that Nura once claimed the former Kano governor helped him secure the appointment. However, the newspaper stated that it could not independently verify the claim.

Alleged Removal from Office !!! ?

Nura was also accused of diverting some property belonging to Batsari Local Government. Reports said that after an investigation, authorities allegedly directed that he be informed of his dismissal from office. However, because the dismissal was not publicly announced, he reportedly continued operating as though he was still part of the government.
Later, when he sought to contest for a seat in the State House of Assembly representing Batsari, he reportedly submitted a resignation letter to pursue politics, creating further controversy over his official employment status.  This newspaper was independently verified that Nura was sacked from his office,  months before he submitted his letter of resignation.Three of Nura friends confirmed to this Newspaper that he was relieved from his office. It was the blunder of katsina state government not make it official.

Allegations of Child Kidnapping!!!

Reports stated that the kidnapped child was the son of one of their neighbors. It was alleged that a house was rented in the Modoji area, and a security guard was hired for the operation.
According to the allegations, on the day the child was taken, a vehicle was obtained from a car dealership under the pretense of showing it to a politician interested in buying it.
Reports claimed that the suspect approached the child in a familiar manner, even calling him by name before taking him away.
After news of the kidnapping became public, Nura was allegedly among those who visited the child’s family to sympathize with them and offer advice.

Reports said the kidnappers initially demanded a ransom of ₦50 million before later agreeing to ₦17 million. The ransom was allegedly delivered along a newly constructed road built by the Katsina State Government, while the child was later abandoned at another location within Katsina city.

According to security reports, the ransom money had allegedly been marked to make tracking easier, alongside other investigative methods that reportedly helped security agencies arrest the suspects.

Reports further stated that seven people were allegedly involved in planning the operation. Six were reportedly arrested, while one escaped. Nura was also alleged to be among the key figures involved in organizing the crime.
