The leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State, Sen. Yakubu Garba Lado Danmarke, has submitted his nomination form to contest the 2027 governorship election in the state.
Danmarke submitted the form at the national secretariat of the PDP, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, in the presence of party leaders, supporters and political associates from Katsina State.
The Katsina State chairman of the PDP, Muhammad Nura Amadi, led party officials and stakeholders from the state to accompany the governorship aspirant during the submission process.
Also present at the event were several PDP stakeholders, including Hamisu Gambo Dan Lawan from Katsina Central, Engr. Nura Khalil from Katsina South and Aliyu Dan Amar from Daura Zone.
About 15 House of Representatives aspirants from Katsina State were also said to have attended the event in solidarity with the PDP leader.
Hundreds of supporters from different parts of Katsina State gathered at the venue to demonstrate support for Danmarke’s governorship ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
