The Katsina State Safety and Road Traffic Authority (KASSAROTA), under the leadership of its Director General, Major Garba Yahaya Rimi (Rtd), has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of the Managing Director of the Katsina State Water Board, Engr. Tukur Hassan Tingilin.
In a statement issued to newsmen in Katsina by the Public Relations Officer of the Authority, Abubakar Marwana Kofar Sauri, the Authority described the death as a great loss to the Katsina State Government and the entire public service.
The statement conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Director General and the entire management and staff of KASSAROTA.
According to the statement, Major Garba Yahaya Rimi (Rtd) noted that the late Managing Director was a dedicated and hardworking public servant who played a vital role in advancing water supply services across the state.
His commitment to duty and passion for improving the welfare of citizens, particularly in the provision of potable water, were highly commendable.
KASSAROTA, under the leadership of Major Garba Yahaya Rimi (Rtd), extended its sincere condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the management and staff of the Katsina State Water Board, the Katsina State Government, and the good people of Katsina State over the painful loss.
The Authority prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family and associates the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
