THE unfortunate music war was caused by the Nigerian Hausa language political praise singing rave of the moment, Dauda Kahutu (alia Rarara) who promised to sing seven (7) negative songs in succession attacking the Military leader of the Republic of Niğer, “if he does not withdraw the accusation that he made against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
BUT some Hausa singers from Niğer did not find the threat on their leader funny, nor did they take it lightly. Serious and insulting they found it to be, that they instantly sent an insulting message to the Nigerian musician, daring him to walk his talk, if he is man enough. And they promised to sing negative songs against him so much that he will “regret ever being born”.
THE singers from the neighbouring country send what appears to be a flyer to the Nigerian political praise singer, abusing him, abusing the Nigerian president and abusing his mother, for bringing him to the world.
FOR the information (although I believe he is not unaware) of Rarara, Hausa singing is taken so seriously in the Republic of Niğer that there are many Hausa learning singing schools in the country for anyone within or without who wants to learn how to sing.
IN a previous article I wrote, as much was said in no less ways. In the article titled ‘Lakurawa: Nigeria’s None Reaction On The Timely Warning From The NIGERIEN President’, which was written on 20/12/2025 , I said that, “One illiterate Hausa Language political praise musician, who does NOT understand his left hand from his right one, THREATENED to sing seven UNCOMPLIMENTARY songs AGAINST the NIGERIEN STRONGMAN.
“NIĞER, being the ORIGINAL HOME of HAUSA music (Late Sa’adu Bori and his like on my mind), some seven Hausa singers from there dared Rarara to go ahead and make the songs against their president, and they promised to CONTINUALLY sing songs against him that he would CURSE the DAY he was born.
“BEING the COWARD the Nigerian praise singer is, he shamelessly FAILED to walk his talk on the threat he had made.”
OF course, it is not unlikely that Dauda Kahutu made the threats at the behest of his masters, whom he worships, supports, and sings for, with the conviction of one who cares only for what he is going to make monetarily, without caring for its source.
HE also appears not to care about the threat posed to his country, and which the Niğerien military strong man, General Abdourahmane Tiani, warned Nigeria about, a few months ago. And his Northern brothers and sisters would be the first ones visited by the threat, and would also be the leading beneficiaries of the warning from the neighbouring Niğer.
RARARA, appears also not to bother about the suffering of millions in a country so enormously rich with material and Human Resources, to the point where an insignificant few public office holders, are doling out billions in cash and kind from the Commonwealth to another set of insignificant few.
BUT the Niğerian military Head of State, and the leaders of Burkina Faso and Mali, are greatly concerned for their countries, which is far more than can be said of the Nigerian civilian ruler. In the three countries, the future is looking very bright, while in Nigeria it is looking very gloomy, to say the least.
MAY God give us the control of our tongue no matter how drunk we are with this world’s transient power. Some people appear to be in the habit of getting power drunk, and they always come down weightlessly.
