Maulud: Katsina State Speaker counsels Muslim ummah to emulate virtues of Prophet Muhammad

The Speaker, Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Nasir Yahaya has urged Muslims to emulate Prophet Muhammad’s exalted virtues, which border on charity, tolerance and peaceful co-existence.
The Speaker made the call in a maulud message signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the House Aminu Magaji Idris   congratulating the Ummah as they commemorate the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad  on Wednesday.

Rt.Hon.Nasir Yahaya who is also the Deputy Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, urged Muslims to always  exhibit good conduct, be just, preach peace, kind to their neighbours, dutiful to parents and generous to children and the aged.

 “I wish to use this magnificent occasion to call on Muslims to align themselves with the Prophet’s teachings as a panacea to all the problems bedeviling our society " the Speaker added.

“I also enjoin faithfuls to continue to demonstrate in their lives, the exalted virtues of the noble  Prophet, to engender peace and unity needed for growth and development of the country.”

The speaker also urged the Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace and tranquility in all parts of the state and the country in general.
