The Katsina State chapter of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as a patriotic leader and a distinguished son of the state.
In a condolence message issued on Monday, the group mourned the passing of the elder statesman, who died on Sunday, July 15, 2025, at a hospital in London.
According to the ACF, President Buhari lived a life defined by patriotism, integrity, dedication, and selfless service to Nigeria. "He was a true icon whose contributions to the nation will never be forgotten," the forum said.
The Katsina State ACF extended condolences to the former First Lady, Hajiya Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, the entire Buhari family, and Nigerians at large. The message also conveyed sympathy to the Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, the Emirs of Katsina and Daura, and the people of the state.
The Forum called for special prayers for the late President, asking Almighty Allah to grant him eternal rest and Jannatul Firdausi.
