The Special Advisor Local Government Inspectorate Katsina State has released a directive to all Resident Inspectors of local government councils in the State, to submit to the his Office, certificates of job completion of Agricultural Mechanisation Centres in each local government for confirmation and payment to contractors. They are as well directed to submit status reports on such centres that are to date uncompleted stating reasons for the non completion by next week Monday 7th 2025.
Hon. Lawal Rufa'i Safana, has highlighted the importance of these Completion Certificates and status reports in verifying project progress and facilitating payment processing.
Furthermore, all reports must be accompanied by photographic documentation of the AMC sites. This documentation will be essential, as Engineers from Headquarters will conduct site visits to confirm completion before disbursement of payments.
