The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Katsina State chapter, has celebrated its chairperson, Hannatu Mohammed, describing her as an exceptional leader and a driving force behind the progress of the organisation in the state.

In a heartfelt message signed by the chapter’s Secretary, Faith Awa Maji, the association hailed Hannatu’s leadership qualities, applauding her dedication, empathy, and consistent efforts in promoting gender equality, especially in a society grappling with cases of gender-based violence.

The association also commended her unwavering commitment to fighting injustice and advocating for the rights of the vulnerable in society.

As she marks her birthday, NAWOJ extended warm wishes for joy, good health, and continued strength in her personal and professional journey.

“We are honoured to work with you and look forward to many more years of success. May this new year bring you fulfilment and be a celebration of all the wonderful things you will achieve,” the statement concluded.
