The speed with which the ailing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ‘commissioned’ a myriad of uncompleted (some of them white elephant) projects across the country to commemorate his second year as the number one citizen in the nation, says more than words can explain, that a big reason is behind the rush to ‘commission’ the barely begun projects.
Some people whose only principle is the acquisition of easy money, free things or both, honoured the invitation to be present at some of the events to give them a measure of ‘reality’. The Lagos to Calabar Coastal Highway project is one of such. It was concocted for no legitimate reason other than to add to the bottomless depth of the president’s pocket.
There was the Lagos state government’s train project in the offing, which is expected to cost the state some N16 trillion, but will tremendously ease the flow of traffic in the Nigerian mega metropolitan city. It was terminated to satisfy the avarice of President Tinubu who, single handedly, awarded the Lagos to Calabar Coastal Highway to his company, Hitech Construction at a staggering N15.6 trillion. The project was ‘commissioned’ when ONLY 30% was said to have been finished.
Performance should be seen on the ground, not HEARD on the airwaves or read on the pages of newspapers. Neither should it be seen and read on prepared video clips by people who may be thousands of miles away from the ‘achievements’. Only those who are paid to laud such ‘achievements’ believe in what they did not physically see.
The recent International Press Conference in London, United Kingdom, organised by the Tinubu regime was nothing but an expensive propaganda. It was organised to swindle the taxpayers, again. And it was an instant failure, because the international community was skeptical about its holding in a location far away from where the various projects were supposed to have been built.
Some serious African countries are silently making developmental progress without making noise about it. And these are in areas of most need by the people. Houses, hospitals, schools (new and repairs), roads, etc.
In any case, what is the big deal about constructing roads, locomotives, provision of pipe born water and other services that nations which put the people first, have provided decades ago? Such nations are now talking about taking humans to the planet Mars for habitation, whereas here in Nigeria, which should have been competing with the best countries in the world, the political office holders are still promising (falsely) to provide electricity, build this road, construct that hospital, repair that school, etc. Give them the chance, and they will forget the promises and embark on STEALING SPREE. This is the 21 century, 60+ years after man has landed on the moon.
But in Nigeria of the moment, there is extreme poverty, hunger and hardship in the country which the majority of the citizens go through daily, due to covert presence of some of the leading enemies of the country, France and the United States. The two countries, which the Nigerian president is alleged to be spying for, have been invited to Nigeria by the present regime to bring in their Africa Command Military and continue to officially do what they have for long been suspected of, surreptitious support of the outlaws who have killed thousands, and continue to kill and abduct defenceless innocent citizens in the country.
This and many other anti-hosts-manoeuvres of the two Western countries forced their sacking from some African countries that were hitherto former colonies to France, and latter-day friends (?) with them. But unknown to the uninformed most, the duo were indeed only insidious friends, who have no regards for the black race except for what they would steal from Africa.
The Tinubu regime had initially denied that the countries were to relocate to Nigeria, but him and some of his officials recently told the nation that the two countries military were coming to ‘assist the nation fight the menace of insecurity’. Their own creation, in the first place. This admission explains why the US is building the ‘biggest Consulate in the world in Lagos, Nigeria’, according to the foreign country.
These are the countries to which the most hated national president in the world, often runs to borrow the money that usually ends in his bottomless pockets, pockets of some crooked government officials around him, and the accounts of the members of the lame National Assembly (NASS).
All the charades, orchestrated by members of the cabal, is to justify the present false demand for Tinubu’s candidacy and subsequent ‘victory’ in the 2027 Presidential election, which will NOT come to pass, by the Grace of God.
A invitee who graced the ‘commissioning’ Professor Wole Soyinka is NOT an enlightened academic, but a tribal one, who is particularly against the so called Hausa/Fulani. He would attend the ‘commissioning’ of a project that was only 30% done, because the president who invited him is his tribesman.
He is also not an academic who is proud of his root, but of the place and people who not only enslaved his ‘grandparents’ and his tongue, but prefer not to see any Black person alive. He is supposed to be an atheist whose parents were said to be Muslims, but has hidden sympathy for a religion that is virulently anti-Islam. He is an academic who is so proud of his White masters that, not a few people believe, the 1986 Nobel Prize was given to him as a reward. He is therefore seen as an intellectual giant who remains UNFREE of some biases unhelpful to his own race.
May God put a very long distance between Nigeria and avaricious leaders, and pretentious intellectuals who would rather promote White foreigners and their culture over their fellow Black people and their culture, bigots who prefer to promote their tribe rather than their country.
