Radda rewards NYSC Corps Members with one million naira

 His Excellency Mallam Dikko Umar Radda PhD, Governor of Katsina State, has honoured three exceptional Corp members with one  million Naira  for their remarkable contributions during their service year of 2024. The reward  was  presented today 22/5/2025 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp on Mani Roa by the governor's representative, Alh. Aliyu Lawal Zakari, the Commissioner for Youths and sports 

In his remarks, Zakari conveyed the governor's appreciation for the corps members’ dedication and significant impact in their assigned communities. He stated, "This gesture is a way of supporting and rewarding hardworking corps members who have contributed and make significant  changes at their places of primary assignment." He further assured the awardees of potential employment opportunities within the state’s civil service.

Mall. Ibrahim Saidu, the NYSC State Coordinator, expressed gratitude to the governor for recognizing the efforts of the corps members. "This is the first initiative of its kind," he noted, adding that he hopes it will continue to inspire and motivate other serving corps members to fully engage during their service year for future recognition.

The award recipients expressed their heartfelt thanks to the governor for this honour and pledged to utilize the financial support in a constructive and productive manner. Their commitment highlights the positive impact of the NYSC program and its potential to foster development within the state and the nation as a whole.
