North Central APC Stakeholders Endorse President Tinubu for Second Term

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Nigeria’s North Central region have thrown their weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, endorsing him for a second term in office.

The endorsement came during the APC North Central Stakeholders’ meeting held in Abuja, where the motion was moved by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, and seconded by Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago.

In a show of solidarity and political confidence, the stakeholders also passed a vote of confidence on President Tinubu, citing his transformative leadership and development-oriented policies, particularly those impacting the North Central region.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, who also serves as Chairman of the North Central States Governors Forum, reiterated the region’s commitment to national unity and pledged continued support for the administration’s agenda.

Speakers at the meeting commended the President’s initiatives, including the establishment of the North Central Development Commission and the introduction of forest guards, which they described as game-changers for the region’s security and development.

APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, lauded the progress achieved under President Tinubu, noting that the party’s policy direction is already delivering results nationwide.

The high-level meeting drew attendance from sitting and former governors, deputy governors, serving and past ministers, current and former legislators, members of the APC National Working Committee, and other key stakeholders from the North Central region.
