Residents of Filin Samji/Kofar Sauri community in Katsina State have appealed to Governor Dikko Umar Radda to approve the construction of a critical access road connecting Kofar Durbi Yan Lemu to Kofar Sauri Yan Fura Fura, which links directly to the Kofar Sauri GRA main road.
The community, under the leadership of its chairman, Professor Gide Filin Samji, made the call during a meeting held at Filin Samji Primary School. In an interview with journalists, Professor Gide commended Governor Radda’s commitment to infrastructural development, describing him as a “project achiever” with a clear vision for transforming the state through quality road networks.
He emphasized the importance of the proposed feeder road, noting that it would ease movement, boost business activities, and improve the overall wellbeing of residents.
“We appeal to His Excellency Governor Dikko Umar Radda to consider and approve the construction of this road. Previous efforts to get the attention of the state government have not been successful, but we remain hopeful under the current administration,” Professor Gide stated.
The community pledged its support and cooperation if the project is approved, stressing its significance in driving development across the area.
