In their quest to bring about political change in Katsina State, a group of young members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, a former Secretary to the Katsina State Government, on Wednesday, March 26.

The visit, led by youth leader Salman Ahmed Gafai, took place at Dr. Inuwa’s residence in Katsina. The delegation urged the former government official to consider the challenges young people face in politics and to join the SDP, a party steadily gaining traction among Nigerians.

Expressing his appreciation for the visit, Dr. Inuwa commended the youths for their political engagement and commitment to meaningful change.

As politicians, it is our duty to support young people and do everything possible to empower them for a better future. Stay committed to your cause, and with God’s will, you will succeed," he stated.

Discussions during the visit centered on the future of politics, the role of youths in governance, and strategies to enhance their representation in leadership positions.

Among those in attendance were Salman Ahmed Gafai, Abas Usman, Yusuf Kabir Umar, Hayatu Ibrahim, Anas Kabir, Abdullahi Ibrahim, Mubarak Abdullahi, and Tasiu Nafiu.
