In fulfillment of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda's campaign promise to construct three comprehensive modern schools across the three senatorial zones, the Katsina State Government has commenced work on the projects.
The Honourable Commissioner of Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Hajiya Zainab Musa Musawa, today inspected the ongoing construction of a comprehensive modern school in Dumurkur, Daura Local Government Area. This project is part of the state government's efforts to enhance the education sector.
Similar projects are underway in Radda town, Charanchi Local Government Area, Katsina Zone, and Jikamshi town, Musawa Local Government Area, Funtua Zone.
According to the Director of Works at the Ministry, the school structures will comprise perimeter fencing, administrative blocks, classrooms, multipurpose halls, mosques, staff quarters, and student hostels. Landscaping will be completed upon project completion.
Hajiya Zainab Musa Musawa expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and urged the contractors to intensify efforts to ensure timely completion.
This development is a testament to Governor Radda's commitment to educational development and his determination to provide quality education to the people of Katsina State .
