The Alhaji Kabir Magaji Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to humanitarian services, has empowered over 557 individuals across Kaita Local Government Area of Katsina State. The beneficiaries, including men, women, orphans, and the less privileged, received various forms of support aimed at improving their livelihoods. Additionally, the foundation distributed essential learning materials to 600 primary school pupils to promote education in the region.

Speaking at the event on Friday, the founder, Alhaji Kabir Magaji, who also serves as the Executive Chairman of the Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups. He emphasized that the organization was established to drive socio-economic and political development, particularly through education and skill acquisition programs.

Alhaji Kabir Magaji also announced that the foundation had received a ₦1 million donation from the Gwagware Foundation to further its initiatives. He expressed appreciation for the support and assured the community of continued humanitarian interventions. He further urged residents to support the administration of Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, in its efforts to develop the state.

Katsina State Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Jobe, who was present at the event, commended the Alhaji Kabir Magaji Foundation and the Gwagware Foundation for their contributions to societal development. He reiterated the government’s commitment to fulfilling its campaign promises, particularly in education, poverty alleviation, and social welfare.

He also called on individuals and organizations to emulate such philanthropic efforts, stressing that collective action is essential for sustainable development.
