Hajiya Naja'atu Muhammad, the founder and chairperson of the Northern Star Youth Initiative, has responded fiercely to threats and intimidation allegedly orchestrated by Nigeria's National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu.

In a bold statement, she declared, "There is no retreat, no surrender, and no apologies to Nuhu Ribadu." This comes after legal threats from Ribadu’s lawyer, Ahmed Raji & Co., over her previous remarks regarding Ribadu’s past statements about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Muhammad reaffirmed her stance, stating that Ribadu, during his tenure as the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), had publicly accused Tinubu of corruption, vowing that he would not escape justice. "While Ribadu may have chosen to forget or retract his own words, I stand by my statement and see no reason to apologize," she asserted.

She challenged Ribadu directly: "Apologize to whom? To President Tinubu for the words of his own National Security Adviser? Or to Ribadu himself for his forgetfulness and loyalty-driven contradictions?"

Rejecting any form of intimidation, she insisted, "I will not retract my statement, nor will I apologize for speaking the truth as I see it. You cannot silence me." Muhammad further alleged that she has received multiple threats and warnings over the past 48 hours, claiming that there is an ongoing attempt to use legal intimidation to suppress her voice.

"If this is how his so-called attack dogs operate—intimidating truth-sayers while terrorists and bandits roam free—then Nigerians must start questioning the priorities of our security agencies," she warned.

With defiance, she dared Ribadu to take legal action, concluding, "You have issues, Ribadu. If you are so sure of your stance, go straight to court. But nothing will silence me."
