Katsina State governor, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda has reiterated confidence in his Chief of Staff, Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi Tsauri describing him as “resident and a go-getter” in all that he is assigned to do.
The governor stated this in Katsina in an interview with Katsina Times while appreciating Katsina Emirate Council for bestowing the title of Lamidon Katsina on the CoS.
“I have come a long way with Jabiru Tsauri and have shared a lot of things in common with him right from our school days in Kafanchan about four decades ago.
“We both started as classroom teachers and later joined politics where he displayed an unflinching loyalty, commitment and resilience as well as giving such wonderful workable ideas that always lead to appreciable successes for the common good”, Radda said.
He recalled with nostalgia how they went to school and how young Tsauri used to conduct himself as a fully refined city boy from whom other students copied how to dress and conduct oneself.
Responding to how he decided to make Tsauri his Chief of Staff, governor Radda said it was due to a lot of reasons among which is Tsauri’s ability and capacity to run public affairs with patience and understanding.
“I have known him to be consistent over a long time, he’s been a Senior Legislative Aide to Two distinguished senators at different times and I never heard any of them complained or said anything negative about him.”
“He has been with me throughout the campaign season, knows the promises we made and the people we made such promises to and he approaches me to remind me of such promises so that we can fulfill them, these are some of the reasons I have developed confidence in him and I remain grateful that he discharges his responsibility effectively with passion,” the governor concluded.
