These are the tales of the local community Watch Corps, a band of gallant young men  whose dedication to their fellow citizens is the very definition of patriotism. Among these narratives of bravery, one name stands out—a beacon of selflessness and commitment—Mubarak.

Mubarak, a member of the local community watch corps, became the embodiment of the courage that runs deep in the veins of the people of Faskari and neighboring towns.  His story, like many others, is not merely one to be told; it is one to be inscribed in gold and preserved within the annals of the Local Government for future generations to draw inspiration from.

It was on a day that began like any other when the tranquility of Faskari was shattered by the news of women abducted by the dreaded bandits. The community watch, ever vigilant, sprang into action, with Mubarak at the forefront. They knew the risks, they understood the peril, but their commitment to their community was unshakeable.

As they ventured into the dense forest, the silence was broken by the echoes of gunfire. It was a fierce exchange, a battle between the guardians of Faskari and the marauders of peace. Yet, amidst the chaos, the community watch prevailed, rescuing the abducted women from the clutches of tyranny.

With the rescued on their shoulders and in their arms, they made the arduous journey back to safety. The women, once gripped by the hands of fear, now clung to their saviours. Mubarak, with a woman on his back, led the charge, his feet pounding the earth with determination.

But fate, as it often does, took a cruel turn. Mere meters from safety, the bandits, in a final act of cowardice, shot Mubarak and two of his comrades in the foot. The pain was searing, but Mubarak's spirit remained unbroken. He looked up at the woman he was carrying and, with a voice firm with resolve, urged her to run across the road and lay down. "You are safe," he told her, his words a testament to his indomitable will,  tell our colleagues to come and collect us in the morning. . 

The story of Mubarak is not just a tale of heroism; it is a reflection of the collective spirit of the local community watch. These individuals, who patrol the streets, keep watch over the vulnerable, and stand as a shield against the darkness, do so not for glory or recognition, but out of a profound sense of duty to their fellow citizens.

As Mal. Shuaibu Labo Faskari rose to accept the intervention grace from His Excellency on behalf of his son Mubarak, The SSA Saidu Ibrahim Danja encouraged him to stand tall with pride as the State Governor, the Chairman and the entire people of the State holds Mubarak in high regard.

Their actions are a patriotic gesture of the highest order, a demonstration of love for their land and people that knows no bounds. The members of the local community watch, with Mubarak as a shining example, are the guardians of their communities. Their legacy is one of hope, courage, and  commitment to the safety and well-being of all.
