Katsina State Development Management Board Set to Host CSOs, International NGOs To Chart State’s Sustainable Development Progress

The Katsina State Development Management Board is set to host a two-day programme aimed at fostering stronger partnerships for the state's continued progress. The event, themed "Strengthening Partnership for Progress," will take place on September 26th–27th, 2024, bringing together key stakeholders from various sectors.
The first day will focus on strengthening partnerships between the state government and civil society organizations (CSOs). This engagement aims to foster collaboration and ensure that the voices of grassroots organizations are heard in the state's development agenda.
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda emphasized the importance of this event, stating, "Our administration is committed to inclusive development. By strengthening our partnerships with both local and international organizations, we can accelerate progress and ensure that the benefits of our development efforts reach all corners of Katsina State."
The Engagement with Civil Society Organizations comes up on Thursday, September 26, 2024, by 9:00 AM–4:00 PM at Women Multipurpose Hall, Filin Samji, Katsina State.
The second day will be dedicated to enhancing partnerships between the State Government and International Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs). This session will explore ways to align international development efforts with local priorities and needs.
This Engagement with International Non-governmental Organizations will be held at Katsina Guest Inn, Hassan Usman Nagogo Road, Katsina on Friday September 27th, 2024, from 9:00 AM- to 2:00 PM
The event will feature participation from several esteemed international organizations, including: The World Bank, UNICEF, UN Women, Mercy Corps, Save the Children, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and a host of others.
Relevant stakeholders are hereby invited to attend this crucial event. This participation will contribute significantly to shaping the future of development initiatives in Katsina State.
