The death has occurred of Professor Ismail Junaidu, the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council Abuja.
He died on Thursday in Damaturu, Yobe State, following a brief illness.
Aged 69 years, he’s survived by his wife, 8 children and 12 grand children.
Prof Ismail Junaidu, an erudite educationist from reputable Bayero University Kano, was also a philanthropist with a golden heart. He was buried at Danmarna Cemetery, Tsohuwar Kasuwa Quarters, Katsina Metropolis
Among early callers and dignitaries that attended the funeral prayer is His Excellency, QS Mannir Yakubu, the immediate past Deputy Governor of Katsina State.
May Allah SWT in HIS infinite mercies forgives the shortcomings of the deceased while giving his family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear this huge loss.
