His Excellency, the Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD. CON, has approved the appointment of Barr. Ahmed Mukhtar Danbaba as a Member of the State Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

Barr. Danbaba was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990 and has been in legal practice since then. He has served as a special adviser to the Governor and as the elected Local Government Chairman of Batsari under the administration of former Governor Barr. Ibrahim Shehu Shema. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, a Master's degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy, and a Master's degree in Law from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Prior to this appointment, Barr. Danbaba was a private legal practitioner with Maidangana Chambers, Katsina, and a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (Katsina Branch). He has also acted as a legal adviser to individuals, government agencies, and companies, including Matasa Media Links, publishers of the Katsina City News group of newspapers. 

Barr. Danbaba is an active member of the Katsina City News Forum.
