Governor’s Wife Inaugurates New Maternity Hospital, Boosts Community Health Initiatives

Katsina State Governor, Haj Zulaihat Dikko Umar Radda, has inaugurated the Zulaihat Dikko Umar Radda Maternity Complex, constructed by Alhaji Hermes Gambo Danlawan.
On Sunday, June 2, 2024, the governor's wife inaugurated a new hospital named after her, built within the Gial School of Health, owned by Alhaji Hamisu Gambo Danlawan.
During her speech, Haj Zulaihat Dikko Umar Radda expressed gratitude to God and praised Alhaji Hamisu Gambo Danlawan for his contributions. She urged the students of the school to remain focused on their studies to become valuable members of their families and society.
She also announced a donation of one million naira to support pregnant women and an additional five hundred thousand naira for the school’s students.
In his speech, the chairman of the event, Hon. Hermes Gambo Danlawan, thanked the governor's wife for her presence and described the opening of the hospital as a significant contribution to the community.
He commended the efforts of Governor Mal. Dikko Umar Radda and his wife for their continuous support to the people of Katsina State. He concluded by wishing everyone a safe return home.
Haj Bilkisu Hamisu Gambo, wife of Alhaji Hermes Gambo Danlawan, delivered the welcome address, thanking the governor's wife for her dedication to supporting the community, particularly women and children.
The event, held at the Gial School campus near the Sauri gate, was attended by the former Governor of Borno State, Colonel Abdulmuminu Aminu (Rtd), the principal of the Cognate School, Dr. Kabir Moto, and other community members.
