Nigerian Conservation Foundation Calls for Action to Save Endangered Vultures

top-news

The Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) is urging Nigerians to take action to save vultures and prevent their extinction. The NCF conducted training sessions for community-based volunteers in Anambra State, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to monitor and report on vulture populations in their communities. Nigeria is home to seven out of the 11 vulture species in Africa, and several of these species are endangered or vulnerable. The NCF's efforts aim to raise awareness and promote conservation of these important bird species.
