Fellow Katsina Citizens,

On this May Day, I want to personally express my deepest appreciation to all the incredible workers across Katsina. Your dedication and tireless efforts are what truly drive our state forward."

On this May Day, I join all workers across our great state in celebrating your dedication and immense contributions to building a better Katsina.

This year's theme, "ensuring safety and health at work in a changing climate", resonates deeply with the crucial role you play in our state's development.

My administration is dedicated to improving the lives of all Katsina residents. We are diligently working on ongoing labour reforms that prioritize worker safety and wellbeing, particularly as our climate evolves.

We share your concerns about food insecurity and the broader security challenges we face. My administration is taking significant steps to address the lingering hunger through the food task force and other  agricultural programmes.

Be rest assured that we are actively working to create a sustainable food system that is not only sustainable but also ensures the health and safety of our agricultural workforce.

On the security front, we acknowledge the challenges you face. My administration is relentlessly pursuing the perpetrators of these heinous acts to ensure your safety at home and in the workplace. We are collaborating with federal forces, investing in community policing programmes to end the menace.

We understand there is more to be done, but I assure you that We're working tirelessly to build a Katsina where every worker can reach their full potential and contribute to our lasting prosperity. Working together, we can achieve a future where Katsina families enjoy food security, a safe and healthy workplace, and a secure living environment..

I thank you once again for your hard work and commitment to Katsina.
