Emir of Katsina Supported Hisbah Board Establishment in Pivotal Visit

In a significant visit on Tuesday, 20th February 2024, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Katsina, Dr. Abdulmuminu Kabir Usman, expressed profound satisfaction and approval regarding the establishment of the Hisbah Board in Katsina State. This endorsement came during a visit by Commander General Aminu Usman, PhD, and his team to the royal palace and the Civil Defence office in Katsina.
Commander General Aminu Usman, PhD, the leader of the newly formed Hisbah Board, articulated the agency's purpose, highlighting its creation by Governor Dr. Dikko Umar Radda to address prevailing societal challenges. The governor's initiative aimed to combat crimes and moral decay, with a focus on organizing meetings and providing advice on marriage to curb the rise of adultery.
Seeking advice, support, and cooperation from leaders and parents, Dr. Aminu Usman emphasized the agency's inclusive composition, bringing together members of various religious groups to collectively work for the betterment of Katsina state.
Emir of Katsina, Dr. Abdulmuminu Kabir Usman CFR, echoed his delight over the establishment of the Hisbah Board, assuring a commitment to its success without political bias. His Eminence offered suggestions for the agency to carry out its work effectively and extended a willingness to provide any necessary assistance.
Jamilu A Indabawa, the Commander General of Civil Defence of Katsina state, lauded Governor Mal. Dikko Umar Radda for establishing the agency and pledged full support to the Hisbah Board's efforts in bringing moral reforms to the people of Katsina state. Indabawa specifically commended the bravery of board commander Dr. Aminu Usman (Abu Ammar).
The commission's delegation, comprising Alh. Abdulaziz Abba Umar, the director of administration, the financial director, senior officers of the Hisbah Board, and others, showcased a diverse and collaborative approach toward achieving the shared goal of moral rejuvenation in Katsina state.
