Katsina State Takes Bold Steps to Boost Business Environment

In a move to enhance the business climate in Katsina State, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has issued the State Action on Business Enabling Reform Order. This order, effective from the 22nd day of December 2023, aims to streamline and improve various processes across key government departments.
In a Press Statement issued by Mallam Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor highlighted that the initiative is in line with the Radda's government commitment to foster responsible investment, particularly in land-intensive agriculture. The state government emphasizes its dedication to implementing the Policy Framework for Responsible Investment in Land-Intensive Agriculture (FRILIA).
To ensure transparency and efficiency, the following information will be published in the State Gazette and widely circulated:
1. Ministry of Land and Physical Planning:
I. Certificate of Occupancy (CofO) procedure and fees.
II. Service Level Agreement (SLA).
III. Grievances Redress Mechanism (GRM).
IV. Mandatory Advance Communication for upcoming changes.
2. Ministry of Commerce, Trade, and Investment:
I. Business Premises Registration.
