National Population Commission's Chairman Defends 2024 Budget Before House Committee on Population

*Abuja, Nigeria - Today, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, fnsa, Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC), successfully presented and defended the Commission's 2024 budget estimates at the National Assembly Complex. The House of Representatives Committee on Population, chaired by Hon. Okunjimi John Odimayo, expressed satisfaction with the NPC's preparedness for the first digital Population and Housing Census in Nigeria. The committee also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to set a date for the completion of the upcoming census exercise.*
