The Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Hon. Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, on Thursday engaged with stakeholders and indigenes of the state at the Federal University of Technology Ilaro during its 23rd Convocation Ceremony.

Jobe represented the Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda, at the event, where the governor was conferred with a Fellowship Award in recognition of his contributions.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the deputy governor interacted with Katsina indigenes working at the university, urging them to sustain dedication, service, and excellence in their duties.

The delegation also held discussions with key officials of the institution aimed at strengthening collaboration and mutual understanding between the Katsina State Government and the university.

Jobe was accompanied by the Director-General of the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency, Dr. Babangida Ruma, and the Deputy Chief of Staff, Mukhtar Saulawa.
