The Tinubu/Dikko Again 2027 Women and Youth Center has pledged to mobilise massive grassroots support to secure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, as well as ensure victory for all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The resolution was reached at the Centre's stakeholders' meeting held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, according to a statement signed by its Director-General, Hon. Salisu Yusuf Majigiri, the member representing Mashi/Dutsi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The group commended President Tinubu for approving the establishment of four additional Nigerian Army divisions and the recruitment of 28,000 military personnel as part of efforts to strengthen national security.
According to the Centre, three of the newly approved divisions will be located in Northern Nigeria—5 Division in Makurdi, Benue State; 9 Division in Ilorin, Kwara State; and 10 Division in Jalingo, Taraba State. It described the move as evidence of the Federal Government's commitment to improving security and safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians, particularly in the North.
The Centre also described the recruitment of 28,000 personnel as the largest military expansion in recent years, expressing confidence that it would enhance the country's security architecture.
The stakeholders further praised the Tinubu administration for introducing a $3.05 billion package of social protection and human capital development programmes, including the Nigeria Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES), the Solutions for Internally Displaced Persons and Host Communities (SOLID) Programme, and the Human Capital Opportunities for Prosperity and Equity (HOPE) initiative.
On the state level, the Centre commended Governor Radda for issuing a new executive order aimed at intensifying the fight against insecurity in Katsina State, noting that the measures were already yielding positive results during the current farming season.
It also applauded the governor for recruiting 2,158 additional teachers, bringing the total number employed by his administration to 9,481, and described the achievements in the education sector as making Katsina a reference point for educational reforms in Nigeria.
The Centre further lauded Governor Radda's administration for its investments in road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, agricultural development and security, describing the initiatives as evidence of purposeful and people-oriented leadership.
The meeting, which was attended by representatives from the state's 6,652 polling units, 361 wards and 34 local government areas, called for intensified grassroots mobilisation in support of the Tinubu and Radda administrations as preparations gather momentum for the 2027 general elections.
The Centre, established by former Katsina State Governor, Dr. Ibrahim Shehu Shema, who serves as its Grand Patron, said it was created to mobilise women and youths in support of President Tinubu, Governor Radda and other APC candidates.
It urged members and supporters across Katsina State to work tirelessly to ensure overwhelming victories for all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
