Interview Panel for the recruitment of Primary Healthcare staff on Tuesday visited Dutsinma Local Government Secretariat.

This was in continuation of the interview session with the candidates seeking to be recruited by the State Government as health personnel for PHCs across the state.

Dutsinma Centre was so fare the third Centre visited designed for the exercise which covered candidates from Danmusa,  Safana, Kurfi and Dutsinma Local Government Areas.

The successful interview session was monitored and supervised by the Committee for the recruitment exercise to ensure objectivity in the conduct of the exercise as well as the credibility of the candidates.

In an interview, the State Chairman Recruitment Committee Hon. Lawal Rufa'i Safana  the conduct of the exercise was going smoothly  as expected citing example of the recent one in Funtua, and Malumfashi Centres and the just concluded exercise in Dutsinma Centre.

Hon. Safana also reemphasised the Committee's commitment of ensuring objectivity and sincerity in the entire recruitment process.

"We are very insistence on the qualifications and the guidelines that we set  for ourselves to ensure that the persons that we are going to eventually employ will be very credible, qualified and have interest of the service at heart and this is why we are not bending on our rules..." He said.

He also talked about Remita payment issue, saying that the Committee has considered some surrounding issues that affected it and posted guidelines that will help the Interviewers in getting very good Remità Payment evidence.

"... because when you are a Health Worker, it is obvious that you have a license before you can practice, it is not our making, we even gave those that do not have evidence of the payment at hand during the interview a grace of two weeks to bring that evidence of Remita payment or processing of your license. So eventually we don't employ people do not have license to practice. So it is not an issue that we are so rigid about, we always consider problems that are associated with Remita or person processing for the license." He added .

He pointed out the problem that emanated in Malumfashi Centre on the discovery of syndicate that produces fake Remita payment Receipts but handed over to Security Agents.

On his part, the Executive Secretary of the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency Dr. Shamsuddeen registered his satisfaction over the conduct of the on going Interview exercise in the state, describing the recruitment exercise for the health personnel for PHCs as the largest to be conducted in the state.

The remaining four  out of the 7 Centres designed for the interview include Kankia, Mani, Daura and Katsina.
