The Governor further commended the appointment of Rear Admiral Idi Abbas as Chief of Naval Staff, noting his impressive record in maritime operations and dedication to professionalism.

He equally lauded the choice of Air Vice Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke as Chief of Air Staff, describing him as an accomplished pilot and defence strategist capable of modernising and strengthening the Nigerian Air Force.

Governor Radda also congratulated Major General Emmanuel Akomaye Parker Undiandeye, the new Chief of Defence Intelligence, for his outstanding record in intelligence and national security management.

He expressed confidence that the collective experience and leadership of the new Service Chiefs would bring renewed energy, discipline, and innovation to the nation’s defence architecture.

“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Katsina State, I reaffirm our unwavering support for the Nigerian Armed Forces and other security agencies in their mission to protect lives and property, particularly in the North West,” the statement read.

Radda assured continued collaboration with military formations in Katsina to sustain gains against banditry, enhance intelligence sharing, and restore lasting peace and stability across communities.

He prayed for divine guidance and success for the new Service Chiefs in their duties, urging them to serve with courage, fairness, and integrity in defending Nigeria’s unity and sovereignty.
