Governor Radda Supports 500 Women with ₦10,000 Each

Attends Opening of Ibrahim Masari Foundation Office

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, yesterday inaugurated the new office of the Ibrahim Masari Foundation (IMF), chaired by Alhaji Sanusi Galadima OTA.

The event featured a major humanitarian gesture where 500 women each received a bag of maize and ₦10,000 in cash.

In his remarks, Governor Radda commended the Foundation for its noble efforts. He described Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Adviser to the President on Political Matters, as an elder, a close brother, and a true friend of Katsina State who continues to use his access to the Presidency to bring positive developments to the state.

The Governor stressed that such initiatives play a vital role in supporting religion, uplifting the youth, and easing the burden on women who bear the greatest family responsibilities.

To strengthen the gesture, Governor Radda announced an additional ₦3.5 million support, ensuring each of the 500 beneficiaries would receive another ₦10,000.

He prayed for Allah’s blessings upon all those who show kindness to the less privileged, noting that such acts attract peace, prosperity, and divine reward.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Foundation, Alhaji Sanusi Galadima OTA, explained that the Ibrahim Masari Foundation has been active for the past two years, offering humanitarian services such as food distribution, hospital assistance, and educational support for underprivileged children.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Radda for his support and pledged the Foundation’s continued commitment to reaching more people in need.

Also addressing the gathering, the Executive Director of IMF, Comrade Sani Mani, said the Foundation was established through the strong relationship between the Chairman and Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari.

He noted that the Foundation is well-structured, with representation at the local government and ward levels across the state, and is focused on supporting orphans, widows, divorcees, and people with special needs through partnerships with various organizations.

The ceremony was attended by the Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs, Usman Abba Jaye, and the Katsina State APC Public Relations Officer, Shamsu Sule Funtua, and hundreds of beneficiaries who expressed gratitude for the life-changing support extended to them.
