Katsina United FC Sacks Club Secretary, Expresses Appreciation for His Service

The management of Katsina United Football Club has relieved Mr. Sale Yusuf of his duties as the club’s secretary.

The decision was conveyed in a letter dated 23rd July 2025 and signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Katsina State Ministry of Sports and Youth Development, Muhammad Rabiu Muhammad. A copy of the letter was also forwarded to the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.

In the statement, the club expressed its appreciation for Mr. Yusuf's commitment and the selfless service he rendered during his tenure. “The management appreciates his dedication to duty and wishes him success in his future endeavours,” the letter read.

The statement also directed the outgoing secretary to hand over all official documents and other relevant items belonging to the club to the appropriate personnel within the Katsina United FC management.

The reasons behind the termination of Yusuf’s appointment were not disclosed.
