FUNERAL OF LATE PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI, GCFR TO HOLD TOMORROW, TUESDAY, (15th JULY,2025) AT 2:00PM, IN DAURA

The Katsina State Government wishes to inform distinguished dignitaries, eminent Nigerians, and the general public that the funeral for the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, 15th July, 2025, in his hometown Daura, Katsina State. 

 The Secretary to the Government of the State, Abdullahi Garba Faskari disclosed that the remains of the body of late President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to arrive at Katsina by 12:00 noon on Tuesday and the funeral prayer is scheduled to hold at 2:00pm, in Daura.

His Excellency the Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON further approved for extension of the public holiday earlier declared, from Monday, 14th to Tuesday,15th July, 2025 to enable the civil servants and other workers to attend the funeral prayer for the departed great leader. 

 As the nation continues to mourn the demise of this distinguished elder statesman,  Governor Dikko Umaru Radda,  requested well-wishers, associates, and members of the public to continue to pray for the repose of the gentle soul of President Muhammadu Buhari, who dedicated his life to the service of this country. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the family, Katsina State, and the entire nation the fortitude to bear this great loss.
