It is to be understood that this article and the ones before it were not sponsored by Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal, or anyone near him.
They were not aware that it was to be written. It is therefore, not a public relations (PR) write up. Purely, it is meant to encourage others to emulate him, and urge those doing so to do redouble their efforts. The present time calls for more assistance like his’s.
When I wrote the article about his ‘free houses around the country’, some people, including an Imam who made one of his Friday Sermons a call to other people to “follow the example of Alhaji Dahiru Mangal”, responded by saying that I failed to mention that he also do so many other things, as his way of giving back to the society that made him who he is today; a very wealthy person who could not ask for more.
They pointed out that apart from what I mentioned as his medical assistance to the less endowed, he also sponsors thousands of hernia operations every year in the country, and constructs and donates many buildings to hospitals, as well as donates beds to same.
He is also said not to charge anything on his hundred of plots of lands scattered around the country, used as garages by car repairers and mechanics. That the preceding year (2024), Alhaji Dahiru Mangal sew clothes for 40plus thousand poor people, including orphans.
He is as well said to give ‘SALARY’ to many former primary school mates, friends, acquaintances, and other very needy people he knows. The ‘SALARY’ is N100+ every month to each of the aforementioned people, belonging to both genders.
There is his of course, his famous regular assistance to educational, particularly tertiary, institutions in some parts of the country, notably Katsina, Kano, Kaduna, and Kogi states.
On his popular free feeding programme across the country, one old woman in Katsina was said to have refused to move to the new house built for her by her biological son in a new location, arguing that she “would not leave the free three daily meals, monthly money, and the yearly new clothes” she was getting “from Alhaji Dahiru”. The old woman only agreed to relocate when she was assured that the new area she was going to stay was also among the places covered by Alhaji Dahiru’s humanitarian assistance.
Then what are the Mogul’s businesses? His businesses include, but not limited to,
transportation on air and land, oil and gas, manufacturing of cement, and Landed property.
Such businesses involve Max Air, hundreds of trailers, hundreds of filling stations across the country, production of quality cement and ownership of many land properties, such as thousands of shops.
Alhaji Dahiru MANGAL’s business tentacles spread across the continents of Africa, Middle East, Asia, Europe and the US. He has business interests and dealings in many West African and some East African countries, in Saudi Arabia, in United Arab Emirates (UAE), particularly in Dubai, in India, in China, and in England, among some European countries, as well as in the United States (US).
May God give Nigeria more Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangals to ease the hardship for the millions of poor compatriots presently living in abject poverty and hunger. The multitude of poverty stricken and hungry citizens, who are deliberately created and abandoned by the present callous regime, is headed by someone who is alleged to be the most CORRUPT leader in the world.
