Lede stressed that road safety is a collective responsibility, urging the public to remain alert and report emergencies promptly.
“The life you help save today may be your own tomorrow,” he said.
Addressing motorists, especially during the rainy season, the FRSC boss advised drivers to adopt defensive driving techniques, remain vigilant, and anticipate potential hazards such as animals or pedestrians crossing the road unexpectedly.
“All road traffic crashes are avoidable if drivers pay attention to details,” he added, highlighting the importance of discipline, concentration, and caution during wet weather conditions.
Commander Lede concluded by reaffirming that road safety is everyone's responsibility.
“Let all hands be on deck as we work towards safer roads and a more responsive society. Katsina State needs the service, and we must be committed to serving right,” he said.
