Katsina State, Nigeria – In celebration of Governor Dikko Umar Radda’s  Ph.D second year anniversary in office, a series of activities have been organized to commemorate this milestone. During a press briefing held at the Government House, the Chief of Staff announced the details of the festivities scheduled for today, May 28, 2025.

The day’s events commenced with a press briefing, followed by an interactive session where academics will conduct a public lecture evaluating the Governor’s administration over the past two years. This discussion is set to take place at Hillside Hotel at 8 PM.

Earlier in the morning, starting at 10 AM, a state prayer gathering will convene, featuring Ulamas from across the region. They will offer prayers for the continued development and smooth operation of the administration.

Following the prayer event, Governor Radda will visit the Federal Medical  centre Katsina to inaugurate a newly completed water works project designed to enhance semi-urban water supply. The Governor will then head to the  Local Government to officially open the Marabar Musawa Road. Finally, his Excellency is expected to join the local community in Daura for a much-anticipated horse racing event, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Katsina.

These events highlight Governor Radda’s commitment to community engagement and transparency as he marks two years of leadership in Katsina State.
