President Tinubu Pledges Unwavering Support to Troops in Katsina, Declares Nigeria Will Not Bow to Terror
KATSINA – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to the Nigerian Armed Forces, assuring them of continued support in the ongoing fight against terrorism and insecurity.
Speaking on the first day of his official working visit to Katsina State, the President addressed troops deployed in the region, praising their bravery and resilience in confronting national threats.
"I commend you for inspiring Nigerians with your courage in the face of danger," President Tinubu said. "As Commander-in-Chief, I assure you that our administration will match your unflinching dedication with decisive action, strategic investment, and unwavering support."
The President emphasized that the battle against forces seeking to destabilize Nigeria goes beyond military might, calling on the troops to maintain their resolve and unity.
"This war will not be won by weapons alone, but by your continued will to stand, resist, fight, and triumph," he noted.
In a strong message to those undermining national security, President Tinubu warned that Nigeria will never surrender to threats or acts of sabotage.
“To those who seek to destabilize our nation—whether domestic collaborators or foreign agents—hear this: Nigeria will not bow. Not to fear. Not to terror. Not to treachery,” he declared.
