Condemnations and complaints keep on coming fast from all corners of the country about the clueless performance of the regime of the CORRUPT dictator, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Under the president’s watch and strong support, the Natasha/Akpabio palaver, the Rivers state declaration of the state of emergency, and above all, the central government’s desire for the break up of the country, are taking place in a supposedly democratic setting.
Even former presidents and other very high up leaders, are not feeling comfortable with the negative happenings in the country, forcing some of them to speak up against those things. And all, but those benefiting from the negative developments, are fully aware that things are not going well for majority of the citizens on these shores.
Recently, a futile attempt was made to recall Senator Natasha, a married woman with three children, from the Senate, simply because she exposed the amorous remarks the Senate President, (Randy) Godswill Akpabio has severally made to her, in the presence of some Senators in the now disrespected chamber of the Senate, even though many of the compromised senators would deny the allegation now.
Supporting the accusation made against the Senate President, a former Senator from Taraba State, Senator Elisha Abbo, alleged that Senators served imperial Akpabio tea at home, and that he “runs the Senate like a personal empire”.
The conversion of the National Assembly (NASS), under the leadership of Godswill Akpabio, a person declared very corrupt by the anti corruption agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC), into a tool for the Corrupt President of Nigeria to do whatever he pleases in the country. The number one citizen regularly serves Nigeria in the reverse, because he has paid the so called ‘lawmakers’ in advance.
If the president makes new appointments, most of those appointed would definitely be of the Yoruba race, and not necessarily qualified enough for the positions. All the appointments are to the Commanding Heights ministries, parastatals or departments, where money is made in tones, most of which finds its way to his private bank accounts.
To date, the tribal leader has appointed above 85% of his tribespeople to the government on coming to power less than two years ago. The appointees should however, be prepared to make a fast exit from their choosy jobs as the end of the present corrupt contraction is very close. No nation can survive this MASSIVE CORRUPTION from the leadership and expect things to continue as if nothing untoward is happening.
The change of leadership at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited signals the takeover of this important company by the French government, which was disgracefully sent out parking by most of its former African colonies. But President Tinubu, who ‘holidays’ in the European country every time, has handed one of Nigeria’s cash cows to the French.
The new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPCL, is a Yoruba man from Kwara State, Engineer Bayo Ogulari, while the non executive Chairman of the board of Directors is Ahmadu Musa Kida, a former employee of the French oil giant, TotalEnergies SE. He is said to be more fluent in the French language (having studied and worked there for a number of years) than in English language.
It is an open secret that France hates Islam and Muslims with so much passion that the country considers every Muslim woman wearing a Hijab as a terrorist. All Muslim women in the country must move in public without the head covering, but it is ABSOLUTELY alright for NUNS to go EVERYWHERE with the Habit, because they are not considered as terrorists.
France is also notorious for its opposition to the unity of Nigeria as one country. The European nation would rather have an independent Biafra,
where it could have all the crude oil it wants for transportation to the mainland without paying for it. Again, the country is alleged to be one of the few foreign countries fuelling and supporting the raging banditry in the North Western part of Nigeria because of the mineral resources, notably gold and diamonds, in abundance. Yet the president has singlehandedly smuggled them into the Northern part of the country without the approval of the NASS, or even its knowledge.
Meanwhile, the poverty in the country is so perversive that people all over Nigeria people are calling either for the military to take over power in the country (via coupe d’etart) or a revolution to happen in Nigeria. Such calls regularly take place in Ibadan, in Lagos, in Abuja, in Kano, in Port Harcourt, among other places.
Nigerians are also defiantly giving advance notice of a protest in the country because of the excruciating poverty and hunger suffered by most of the citizens. They are challenging the heads of the military, the police, the SSS and the National Security Adviser to use their tear gas and their bullets on them, but they will still keep on protesting until the rubbish that calls itself a government is no more. The extremely bad economic policies of the Tinubu regime in which only an insignificant number in the nation feeds well, and continues to amass trillions of illegally acquired naira, must come to an instant stop.
Young Ijaw people, including some not so young, told the FCT Minister Wike that he would have to order for the shooting and tear-gassing of all the Ijaw in the South South before they could keep quiet from shouting that hunger and poverty are killing Nigerians. They openly told the minister that no amount of intimidation or threat to their lives would cower them from challenging the leadership in the federal government, and telling them that they are not wanted in the country anymore.
The massive and runaway CORRUPTION In Nigeria has made it possible for a serving minister to own one of the largest and most expensive hotels in the south south geo political area of the country. The hotel has not been sealed off by the any of the anti graft agencies in the country, nor its owner reprimanded by the federal authority.
And about three trending video clips rope in most of the state governors into the corruption ring, alleging that they are hand in glove with the presidency in short charging the citizens of the country. According to the videos, many of the ‘saintly’ governors are anything but that, because they are not exactly saints when it comes to getting illegal money from the public till, which they regularly do under one guise or another.
The President also oversees the corrupt judiciary and the corrupt security agencies’s heads, who appear to do nothing but what the corrupt president wants them to do, no matter how unconstitutional and undemocratic it may be.
Many clerics belonging to all the religions, including the traditional ones, mislead most of the thieving rulers into believing that God, the Pure and Just, would forgive them all their sins if they merely ‘donate’, ‘sponsor’, ‘reward’, ‘support’ the poor people, build praying and learning places, in their various constituencies. They have taken that misleading information to heart, which is why they do what they are advised, plus establishing many online media platforms to promote them, and proclaim loudly the ‘good’ they are always doing to the people.
Therefore, many of such clerics are themselves owners of all manner of expensive things, including big houses and big state of the art motor cars, built and or purchased for them by the corrupt rulers and other politicians in the country.
When the brilliant Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed saw the real Tinubu, against the lies woven around the President, he resigned his position as Special Adviser political to the Vice President, a position he has held for less than two years.
Dr Hakeem, who went to the Vice President’s office with good intentions and high hopes of serving his nation again, threw in the towel after he saw the “brand of democracy where everything is possible”. This is no doubt a euphemism for ‘dictatorship’ in a country that is supposed to be operating a fully functional democracy. But in the case of Nigeria under President Tinubu, the democracy is completely dysfunctional.
It was also the reason why President Tinubu’s former Special Adviser on media, Ajuri Ngalale, resigned from his position in order to save his honour and dignity. But the world was told that he resigned to “attend to his health”, which most discerning people saw as a blatant lie.
Because of some fault lines, the people who support injustice, should bear in mind that poverty, penury and hunger are not respecters of such boundaries. They affect the whole population in the society in equal measure, without prejudice to religious, regional and ethnic backgrounds of the citizens.
No Nigerian leader has ever openly shown his hatred for a certain part of his country, and to some extent, his religion, than the present president. He told his tribespeople that it was his term, and he is proving that with a passion, with the unity of the nation as his last wish.
With most of the citizens’s open call for a military takeover, their defiance even in the face of paying the extreme price, the runaway CORRUPTION in the land from the federal down to the state level, and the constant prayer of the oppressed and depressed Nigerians, it is just a matter of time before the current regime goes to pieces.
Once again, may God assist poor citizens of Nigeria by getting rid of all those who do not fear Him or meeting Him in the next and last world.
