United Nigeria Airlines Records Four Years of Safe Flights

Since it commenced flights in February, 2021, United Nigeria Airlines has made a record of safe flights, making it one of the favourites among air travellers in the country.

The airline which has never been suspended or sanctioned for violating any safety regulations or standards operates flights across thirteen major Nigerian cities. 

United Nigeria Airlines operates daily flights across Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Asaba, Owerri, Yenagoa, Osubi, Anambra, Kano, Sokoto, Benin and Katsina.

Industry regulators have noted that the airline maintains international safety and security standards, which made it to earn the trust of air passengers across the country.

The airline which was registered and incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990 at the Corporate Affairs Commission is also a certified member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The company which was
registered under the tradename, United Nigeria Airlines Company Limited, was founded by Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, OFR, a businessman from Anambra State who was born in Gombe.

The airline which started operating with four aircraft has grown its fleet with the addition of an Airbus plane, Embaer 190 with plans for more expansion.

Run by duly trained and certified crew members, United Nigeria Airlines says it prioritises passenger safety and will continue to maintain premium operating standards in line with industry regulations and guidelines.
