The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between NSCDC and the Katsina State Government in addressing security challenges in the state. Speaking during the meeting, Deputy Commandant Saulawa expressed appreciation for the state government’s continuous support for security agencies.

He emphasized NSCDC’s commitment to enhancing intelligence gathering, community engagement, and specialized security training. “We are here to show gratitude to the state government for its unwavering support to security agencies. Security is a collective responsibility, and we are determined to work closely with the government to protect lives and property,” Saulawa stated.

The delegation also reiterated its dedication to providing additional training and support, particularly in intelligence gathering and crime prevention. Saulawa commended the Katsina State Government for its efforts in refurbishing the accommodation facilities for NSCDC officers undergoing training at the NSCDC Training College along the Batsari Road.
