KATSINA, MARCH 12, 2025 - The Katsina Police Command has passed out 525 newly deployed police constables who underwent training in combat operations and weapons handling at the 27 PMF Squadron, Katsina.
The training, led by Commissioner of Police Aliyu Abubakar Musa, aimed to equip officers with skills to tackle unique security challenges. Topics covered included:
- *Core Police Duties*: Responsibilities and expectations of police officers
- *Advanced Weapon Handling*: Tactics and techniques for effective weapon use
- *Communication and Interpersonal Skills*: Building relationships and effective communication
- *Crisis Management and Conflict Resolution*: Strategies for resolving conflicts and managing crises
- *Professional Conduct*: Upholding integrity, discipline, and professionalism
- *Social Media Policy*: Responsible use of social media platforms
- *First Aid*: Basic medical response and care
CP Musa emphasized the importance of training and retraining personnel to perform at optimal levels. He charged the officers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and discipline throughout their careers.
The training was made possible through logistical support from the Katsina State Government, led by Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda. CP Musa thanked the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for his guidance and support.
